kallahar writes Life and Debt is a new documentary by Stephanie Black that is showing in Los Angeles this week. I went to the screening last night in Hollywood. The basic premise: US controlled world banking organizations have systematically destroyed the Jamaican economy. By lending the country money at obscene interest rates and then forcing them to remove tarrifs on imports, the IMF tricked Jamaica into being forced to rely on foreign imports. This is why we protest the WTO and any other "world market" scheme, they destroy National Sovereignty.
