"Come on in, I was just making some sandwiches for lunch."

"Thanks, I'm starved."

"So, ready for graduation tomorrow?" Beth asked as they walked into the kitchen.

"Yeah, I guess so. To tell you the truth I'm looking forward to the party afterwards more than I am to graduation."

"I know what you mean," said Beth. "I mean, it's not like we're done with school or anything yet."

"Yeah, I can't wait for college to start, finally get out of this town."

"I hear ya," said Beth. "Here's your sandwich, want some milk?"

"Sure," said Ember, sitting down in the breakfast nook. "Do you want to go to Mike's party or Charlie's?
