kallahar writes Yesterday I attended a conference about the War on Drugs sponsored by UC Irvine. It was an excellent, free, all day event. Two memorable points stuck with me. Dr. Tibor Machan said that the government should stop playing the role of Parent (Parentalism) since we're all adults and able to run our own lives. The second point was by Judge James Gray who said that our prisons should be filled with people we're afraid of, not people that we're mad at. All in all, an excellent day, the next event is in February and is about Cloning.
