kallahar writes Personal Rant: California needs to cut 2 billion (plus 10 more) out of its budget immediately. Partly from the extortion by the energy sellers (ie Enron), but I won't get into that now. I heard on KPFK that California governor Gray Davis plans to get most of the 2 billion out of education. This is absolutely disgusting. Education is the only hope that our society has for a better future. I am 100% positive that there are other areas that are far less important than our children. Shame on the democrats and shame on the republicans. I do believe I'll vote for a third party.
