Oppression: Airport Protection?

writes So, airport security is being federalized. That means better security, right? Wrong. A big problem with the existing security measures is that high-school dropouts with no training are the screeners, right? Right. So, what does the government do? They decide to not require a high school education for the security guards who protect the millions of air travelers in the US each year. So, tell me again what the point of federalizing airport security was?
