kallahar writes Scientific American has a story about the morons in the Patent Office who grant patents to things such as 3D Pie Charts, Training with Manuals, the Wheel, and first person shooters. They do a good job with things like cars, but they should never have let people patent software (since they don't understand it), and business processes (since they don't understand them).
