Overview My senior project in high school was to create a simple robot. It is an analog-only robot. When it hits something, it backs up, makes a slight turn, and then goes forward again.
How it Works When a switch is hit, the capacitors discharge which flips the relays which reverse both motors. The resister net makes one cap discharge slower than the other, which keeps one motor reversing longer. Thus, it will back up a little farther on one motor and make a slight turn. Then they both switch back to forward and it's off!
